Magno Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Trigo having to interfere. Cláudio Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tomé Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ulisses Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Magno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SALIMEN's Ulisses Sabóia in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira got control of the ball when Ulisses Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomé Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ulisses Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulisses Sabóia. After 29 played minutes SALIMEN got a freekick which was hit by César Catarinense. Bebeto Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Guimarães in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Donato Botelho got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes of play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Caco Guimarães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bebeto Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Botelho in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Gerazan got free with Tomé Oliveira in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Pimenta might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomé Oliveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Pimenta ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Pimenta came free, but Tomé Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Sabóia scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulisses Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Enéas Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SALIMEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulisses Sabóia in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SALIMEN's goalkeeper Bebeto Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goalkeeper Bebeto Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Nunes. Bebeto Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Sabóia came free, but Tomé Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ulisses Sabóia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Oliveira was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Bebeto Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute İldeniz Davutoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enéas Pereira was slow to take the kick. During this time SALIMEN's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SALIMEN's Enéas Pereira to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomé Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomé Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Davutoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Donato Botelho got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by İldeniz Davutoğlu in the 89th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, İldeniz Davutoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SALIMEN's supporters rose to their feet, but İldeniz Davutoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SALIMEN had won after a very even match.
