VB-Team were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after SALIMEN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Rezende took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim de Barros in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Trigo saved SALIMEN from getting behind. When Joaquim de Barros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bebeto Trigo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Traian Hăvârneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Hăvârneanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the SALIMEN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VB-Team.
