Diguinho Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Pereira came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Kalischer in the 15th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Ricky Kalischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Canalla Fuego got a corner. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan Benvide ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 18th minute, Aristides Villanueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Kalischer in the 20th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlos Aimar sped through Academia Santista CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. Felipe Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Carlos Aimar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gu Zhan Wei came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Aimar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. Gu Zhan Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Kalischer in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Canalla Fuego's Jonatan Benvide got a free kick in the 38th minute. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aimar in the 41st minute of play. Carlos Aimar in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gu Zhan Wei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Paraíba in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Aimar was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, Aristides Villanueva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Felipe Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Nerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Nerio got free with Clemente Benvido in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Kalischer in the 67th minute of play. Clemente Benvido made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Vladimir Tande sent off a good shot on target. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Honcioiu in the 70th minute of play. Nicolae Honcioiu scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gu Zhan Wei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Canalla Fuego's Romeo Lon was substituted for Gian Leu. When Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the Canalla Fuego players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
