In the 32nd minute, Santiago Sosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. The Simbo FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Simbo FC's Marcial Belasko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Flor Petera came free, but Fernan Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Guaberto Valery struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Octavio Lauaxeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Flor Petera in the 54th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Fernan Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tami Pettinato kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Sosa in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Flor Petera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flor Petera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flor Petera in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Ignado saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. When the match was over Simbo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Balvanera throughout the match.
