Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Maraman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Braulio Berasko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Arturo Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Arturo Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Millan came out of the goal and Arturo Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Norberto Lehen hit a great ball. Arturo Flores scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Millan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Palermo's Braulio Berasko threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Gamus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Maraman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Emiliano Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Oalo to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Palermo's Leonides Elizardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Fernendo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anibal Fernendo hit a great ball. If Anibal Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Urtungo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Eulalio Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Maraman made a kick off. Miguel Cordarrell charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Cordarrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Miguel Cordarrell got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Norberto Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Lehen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Berasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Palermo's Pedro Maraman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Berasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aurelio Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Millan having to interfere. After 70 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Boniel. If Leonides Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braulio Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Elizardo in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Pedro Maraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Berasko came out of the goal and Pedro Maraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Arturo Flores dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Candido Millan, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C. A. Atlanta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
