Braulio Berasko made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lino Godoy sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Luken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Luken came free, but Evelio Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 65 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Tiadoro. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicasio Primeiro hit a great ball. Braulio Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
