The supporters of El coca fc booed when 1989 Blxsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the 1989 Blxsk defense, Paulino Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Mitxaut. The 1989 Blxsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Mitxaut should have stopped the shot. If Carlos Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El coca fc getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pól Caniggia hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Bernabe Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El coca fc's zone, Niceto Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Aballe came out of the goal and Niceto Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Natalio Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Arias in the 27th minute of play. Luciano Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El coca fc's Luciano Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Dacio in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Platon in the 41st minute of play forced El coca fc's goalkeeper Luciano Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Erubiel Hitzeder replaced Amador Leizarraga. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. 1989 Blxsk's Niceto Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goalkeeper Luciano Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Dacio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Dacio in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernabe Dacio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Luciano Aballe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, 1989 Blxsk's Luciano Aballe threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Bernad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Urbano Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pól Caniggia in the 79th minute of the match. Bernabe Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Aballe having to interfere. After some careless play in the 1989 Blxsk defense, Paulino Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Mitxaut. The 1989 Blxsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Mitxaut should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute of the match 1989 Blxsk got a corner. El coca fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Pani ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Albert Pani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El coca fc's Luciano Aballe did a great save. In the 96th minute, Octavio Blasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Bernabe Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El coca fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
