Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaltino Castro started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Damaso Lia put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute, Damaso Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Clóvis Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FALCÕES VERDES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Nicanor Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 19 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Lino Godoy. FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Fanuco in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Isaltino Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FALCÕES VERDES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Palmas the free kick. A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Isaltino Castro hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Fanuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Sergipano was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nicanor Fanuco sped through FALCÕES VERDES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Sergipano. Thanks to some nice moves Horacio Sein could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Dalmo Sergipano however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Fonseca hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Fanuco in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FALCÕES VERDES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Palmas the free kick. Paulino Gabino charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Gabino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Fanuco to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Ramón Carvalho got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dalmo Sergipano came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Palmas's Nicanor Fanuco. But to his dismay, Nicanor Fanuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nicanor Fanuco scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evelio Naike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goalkeeper Evelio Naike had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Tepedino. If Horacio Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo Soeiro lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Soeiro. 68 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's Fulgencio Tiadoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmo Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Fanuco. Baltazar Tepedino hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Nicanor Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sein came free, but Dalmo Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FALCÕES VERDES's Benjamin Falcão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ruben Peruxu in the 90 minute of the game. Las Palmas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
