Hermengildo Dalmai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ubaldo Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago de Queiroz in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Dalmai in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Sergipano saved FALCÕES VERDES from getting behind. In the 21st minute, FALCÕES VERDES's Ramón Carvalho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramón Carvalho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FALCÕES VERDES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramón Carvalho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FALCÕES VERDES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! FALCÕES VERDES:s Dalmo Sergipano showed great skill when he stopped Hermengildo Dalmai:s penalty. In the 25th minute, Leopoldo Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Fonseca in the 29th minute of play. Jesus Conrao's late challenge caught a FALCÕES VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Conrao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, one of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ. Ubaldo Frisco had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Clóvis Marinho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jesus Conrao hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Clóvis Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Frisco. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eleuterio Lambertos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Dalmo Sergipano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Baltazar Tepedino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Hermengildo Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dalmo Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hermengildo Dalmai came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Dalmai couldn't finish the play. Carolo Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dalmo Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Hermengildo Dalmai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hermengildo Dalmai sped through FALCÕES VERDES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Sergipano. In the 87th match minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Txeru to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Dalmai. When the referee ended the match the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
