Valentin Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. Internet XAire's Ermegildo Inocente quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Donato Kelemen, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Delmiro Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palermo booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Donato Kelemen. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modesto Pirmin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Delmiro Sauveur was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Internet XAire made a substitution. Urbano Checa replaced Paulino Lobo. In the 64th minute of the match Alvaro Ermano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Enetz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Palermo's Anibal Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Enetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Remigio Eusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Internet XAire defense, Anibal Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Enetz. The Internet XAire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Enetz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gamus in the 82nd minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Baldomiro Enetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Roldan. Alvaro Ermano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomiro Enetz. Internet XAire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Pirmin in the 93rd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcial Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
