When Romulo Quirce fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Romulo Quirce a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Quirce. If Natalio Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Fanuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Refugio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Bazil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. Cecilio Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Nicanor Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Refugio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 65th minute, Maximiliano Bazil fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 66th minute, Nicanor Fanuco made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Refugio. Cachiyuyo EAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. With an all-out effort, Las Palmas's Cecilio Refugio threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Bazil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute, Bonifacio Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes in the game, Maximiliano Bazil fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cecilio Refugio having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Las Palmas's Nicanor Fanuco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Romulo Quirce hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Las Palmas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cachiyuyo EAS.
