Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Placido Cordarell got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Horacio Sein notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron. Abel Neron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Balvanera's Santiago Sosa suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 14 minutes, Damaso Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Palmas and the Deportivo Balvanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Lia. Placido Cordarell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evelio Naike. Las Palmas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Naike having to interfere. Placido Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Lino Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Palmas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Balvanera the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Godoy to maneuver through the defense. When Leandro Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Deportivo Balvanera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Cordarin couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Berto. Evelio Naike made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Octavio Pes sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leandro Cordarin hit a great ball. Eusebio Lehoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Evelio Naike skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute, Eusebio Lehoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jose Aritza took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Evelio Naike to make any attempt to save it. If Jose Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Naike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Aritza in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Sein got free with Abel Neron in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Leandro Cordarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Naike. Las Palmas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Cordarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 61st minute Jose Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu was substituted for Ramiro Quin. Leandro Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Naike having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Jose Aritza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Evelio Naike came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin. But to his dismay, Leandro Cordarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Aritza in the 76th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper Evelio Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Evelio Naike came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu. But to his dismay, Rene Restu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. In the 94th minute Leandro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
