After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Romulo Quirce got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Armando Rosalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Refugio came out of the goal and Armando Rosalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Romulo Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Rosalios short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Cecilio Refugio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cecilio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Armando Rosalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
