Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) ZORZAL01's Edgardo Nardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Eutor. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcial Dantae got control of the ball when Edgardo Nardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 minutes, Edgardo Nardo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palermo's Marcial Dantae tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Paolo Gotzon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcial Dantae to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Luisito Medero hit a great ball. Palermo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Edgardo Nardo scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Dantae, making the score, 4-0. Benjamin Firmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Dantae came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Firmo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcial Dantae got control of the ball when Edgardo Nardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Nardo in the 52nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcial Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Dantae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Firmo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes, Apolo Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZORZAL01 and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Apolo Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie got control of the ball when Valentin Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Valentin Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Richie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Enekoitz in the 66th minute. After 69 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Edgardo Nardo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Dantae was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Nardo came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anibal Fernendo hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Edgardo Nardo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Palermo's Marcial Dantae. Marcial Dantae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute Abelardo Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Nardo scored 8-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Dantae, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Abelardo Vimaro fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZORZAL01's protests and gave Abelardo Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Enekoitz in the 90th minute of play. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Evelio Guipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Evelio Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Edgardo Nardo made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palermo's Marcial Dantae tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ZORZAL01 fully deserved thier win.
