In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Ramon Tancredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Inocencio Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Bishen Cholas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Urbano Checa got a free kick in the 19th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Checa came free, but Ramon Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Internet XAire getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Urbano Checa hit a great ball. Baldomiro Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Pirmin in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Modesto Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internet XAire's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Pirmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Tancredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Remigio Eusko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internet XAire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramon Tancredo was a little too slow when Remigio Eusko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. Mercado Paulista F.C were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Internet XAire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Vargas took the corner. In the 67th minute, Albino Asteri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Internet XAire made a substitution. Delmiro Sauveur replaced Urbano Checa. Baldomiro Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Internet XAire's Baldomiro Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Shantala in the 77th minute of play. Baldomiro Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Asteri in the 80th minute of the match. After 83rd play minutes Ramon Shantala shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Baldomiro Enetz and just under the crossbar into goal. Albino Asteri hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Modesto Pirmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Tancredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Pirmin ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramon Tancredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Mercado Paulista F.C manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Internet XAire to win.
