Atlanta booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Cordarrell in the 15th minute of the match. C. A. Atlanta were furious when Honorio Oliverio was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in C. A. Atlanta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Elias Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jonas Brion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Dominguez was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Miguel Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Jonas Brion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Dominguez. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Dominguez should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Palos got free with Silvano Dominguez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Brion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Silvano Dominguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rodolfo Etxepare hit a great ball. Isaias Beliran's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Beliran helped the player get up and apologised. C. A. Atlanta's Silvano Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Neron in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Brion to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvano Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Jonas Brion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Dominguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Simbo FC's Gervasio Matei was substituted for Iker Oskarbi. 68 minutes into the match, C. A.
