After some careless play in the Hayalim Kedoshim defense, Maarten Aelbrecht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Angelescu. The Hayalim Kedoshim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Angelescu should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unidad de Matanza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garfield Sau was slow to take the kick. During this time Hayalim Kedoshim's players had a chance to rest. Venancio Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Pora's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno got a free kick in the 44th minute. With an all-out effort, Hayalim Kedoshim's Venancio Cristofol threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laurențiu Pora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Unidad de Matanza were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michal Stehno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lotfi Ziadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Angelescu having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Guillerme Escarraz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Unidad de Matanza's Yannick Bartz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Angelescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Dawid Beninda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Cristofol. Unidad de Matanza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dawid Beninda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 92nd minute, Yannick Bartz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cazimir Angelescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. In the 95th minute Dawid Beninda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
