CERRO PORTEÑO's Jiang Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 4th minute of play. Jiang Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 8th minute of play. Lino Rios scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jiang Lei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Lei saved CERRO PORTEÑO from getting behind. Jiang Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Christoff Stocks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Velasco made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moreno Martins immediately put the ball in play. In the 26th minute, Lino Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiang Lei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Alan Paredes replaced 王树帆. CERRO PORTEÑO's 任棋振 was substituted for Moreno Martins. In the 31stth minute of the game Lino Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERRO PORTEÑO's Jiang Lei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Sesuldo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jiang Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 37th minute of the match. Jiang Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 38th minute of play. CERRO PORTEÑO's Barto Crespo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thiago Silva, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 44th minute. Jiang Lei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC FUSION were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Christoff Stocks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiang Lei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jiang Lei made a huge save. Christoff Stocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Edward Spets. Edward Spets hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Vermudo Capetillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Rios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Jiang Lei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vermudo Capetillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Jiang Lei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. In the 79th minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Gerbault made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. After 84 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Maldini. Lino Rios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jiang Lei came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Rios slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 85th minute. Christoff Stocks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jiang Lei having to interfere.
