A sloppy throw-in by Witalis Konopka in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC FUSION's Paul Vase. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Leukothoe Atsidakos came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Edwin van der Sar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leukothoe Atsidakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 22nd minute of play. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piara Bue in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukothoe Atsidakos in the 27th minute of play. When Jerónimo Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerónimo Furtado couldn't finish the play. Jerónimo Furtado took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Lino Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. Jerónimo Furtado took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Bettencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jerónimo Furtado made the kick off in the second half. Leukothoe Atsidakos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roberto Eztebe firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 52nd minute, Lino Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 54 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Maidana. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Gaxan in the 64th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Bettencourt's late challenge caught a Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Bettencourt helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Germano Bettencourt. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC FUSION throughout the match.
