Augusto Estefan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Täger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atahan Balyemez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Dudkowski having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Parque Europa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Krzynowek to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CRUZ DEL SUR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
