Kıvanç Yücesan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Brown Puerto Madryn's Taaniel Hill. But to his dismay, Taaniel Hill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Santiago Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Zagorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Brown Puerto Madryn's Aurelio Blanco got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 42nd minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brown Puerto Madryn's Gerard Pique quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Selmo Benítez, made in the 47th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taaniel Hill to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, SC Pfullendorf's Miguel Rodríguez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Argyris Zagorakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pfullendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Argyris Zagorakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Nataniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taaniel Hill in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taaniel Hill in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kıvanç Yücesan saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Guo Chong in the 70th minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Czeslaw Wallach replaced Karel Van Den Abeele. Brown Puerto Madryn's Santiago Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Rodríguez in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Moya to maneuver through the defense. 彭森银 struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Santiago Nataniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pfullendorf. 95 minutes into the match, Billy Drake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan. SC Pfullendorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Drake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
