Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Estefan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Estefan came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandre Santana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 8th minute Dabi Saens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Jakub Szczepanowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dabi Saens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Zachariasz Dudkowski made a huge save. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 13th minute of play. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Szczepanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's Augusto Estefan. But to his dismay, Augusto Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 22 minutes into the match, Augusto Estefan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin van der Sar. União Sport Clube Paredes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Estefan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Augusto Estefan scored 1-4 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 28th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after União Sport Clube Paredes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bautista Marcó took the corner. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dabi Saens in the 32nd minute of the match. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner. Bautista Marcó went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ronnie Odell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Estefan came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on União Sport Clube Paredes's corner Dabi Saens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zachariasz Dudkowski quite easily take care of the ball. Zachariasz Dudkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Szczepanowski's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 44 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when União Sport Clube Paredes's Alexandre Santana fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 46 played minutes União Sport Clube Paredes got a freekick which was hit by Dabi Saens. After the first half CRUZ DEL SUR were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerónimo Furtado was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Ronnie Odell came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronnie Odell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 60th minute of play. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Loco Ron with Ronnie Odell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerónimo Furtado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachariasz Dudkowski saved CRUZ DEL SUR from getting behind. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Santana in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Furtado came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Dabi Saens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariasz Dudkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Pippin Aguilera replaced Augusto Estefan. CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci was substituted for Abundio Manzano. In the 75th minute CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner. Bautista Marcó went to the cornerflag to take it. CRUZ DEL SUR's Artaç Yavuzalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edwin van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Artaç Yavuzalp put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Edwin van der Sar. Pippin Aguilera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR's Arturo Vidal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horia Taşcu, made in the 88th minute of the game. Bautista Marcó blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin van der Sar having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bautista Marcó got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bautista Marcó's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Edwin van der Sar on his right side and into the goal. 89 minutes into the game it was 2-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CRUZ DEL SUR had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
