When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Máximo Kirchner put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silvestre Peli. Michal Stehno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Silvestre Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Máximo Kirchner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Peli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the La Bichineta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michal Stehno hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Michal Stehno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Silvestre Peli made a huge save. In the 36th minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Grøtterud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvestre Peli. La Bichineta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfried Teunens was the one to do the kick off. When Michal Stehno came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Stehno couldn't finish the play. La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo was substituted for Godfried Teunens. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 59th minute of play. Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after La Bichineta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Grøtterud took the corner. The La Bichineta fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes into the match, Eliseo Iigo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Eguzki, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Bâru in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Peli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru. But to his dismay, Nestor Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Castel in the 86th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lateef Raal struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Silvestre Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. After 92 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Vennard Rojak. There was no doubt that Unidad de Matanza were the better team. Unidad de Matanza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
