An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 4th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfried Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the game, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Simon Gerbault made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Bichineta's Amado Filipo. In the 19th minute, Simon Gerbault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin got control of the ball when Godfried Teunens tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 28th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Peli. La Bichineta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin got control of the ball when Godfried Teunens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Godfried Teunens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cãlin Damaschin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfried Teunens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Bichineta made a substitution. Vennard Rojak replaced Dorival de Azevedo. La Bichineta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dariusz Motyl in the 63rd minute. After 69 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Cimpoi. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Iigo in the 71st minute of the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Eusebiu Cimpoi with Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Eliseo Iigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Iigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. CERRO PORTEÑO's 王树帆 was substituted for Alan Paredes. CERRO PORTEÑO's Moreno Martins was substituted for 任棋振. After 90 minutes of play, La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cãlin Damaschin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO PORTEÑO's Moreno Martins. But to his dismay, Moreno Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Iigo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the CERRO PORTEÑO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Bichineta.
