An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Frederico in the 34th minute of play forced Mamma Mia's goalkeeper Joaquin Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Bertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Tulio was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Urbano Ortzi made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Tulio. Mamma Mia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Ortzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Bernardino Bertin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bankero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 71 minutes into the match, Mamma Mia's goalkeeper Joaquin Tulio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Bertin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Argina during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Mamma Mia got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Salvino. The Bankero FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bankero FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
