Americo Aballe struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Joaquin Tulio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abbott AFC. Americo Aballe had several of the Mamma Mia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Tulio as he didn't even see the shot coming. 12 minutes into the game, Marcial Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abbott AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamma Mia the free kick. Marcial Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Mamma Mia's Joaquin Tulio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mamma Mia from getting a goal against them. Isaac Theobald's late challenge caught a Abbott AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mamma Mia's Isaac Theobald got a free kick in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the game, Americo Aballe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Tulio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Benet scored 3-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Oscar Beila threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mamma Mia's Donato Ted quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 44 minutes of play, Mamma Mia's Bonifacio Berdoi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Leheren was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Alejo Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Berdoi in the 51st minute. Joaquin Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Donio in the 55th minute of play. Melchor Benet hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Tadeo Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Donio in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Americo Aballe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abbott AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abbott AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mamma Mia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
