Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Casimiro Gonzales got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jaime Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Edgardo Calvino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis. Timoteo Evis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timoteo Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Mundo in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Alfonso Pudes got a free kick in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marlin FC's Casimiro Gonzales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aureliano Obeko. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. In the 14th minute, Florentino Esiquio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Obeko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Timoteo Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Leonardo Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Evis came out of the goal and Leonardo Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Sazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aureliano Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timoteo Evis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Mundo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Timoteo Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Obeko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Monico in the 42nd minute. Timoteo Evis came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin. But to his dismay, Gaspar Sabin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Sabin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Leonardo Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gregorio Atarrabi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Gonzales in the 57th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Sabin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Evis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Edgardo Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Casimiro Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Edgardo Calvino got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Gregorio Atarrabi had to leave the field with a concussion. When Everardo Tomi fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlin FC's protests and gave Everardo Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Tomi. 72 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Evis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Sabin. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timoteo Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Jaime Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Mundo couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Ongile. 85 minutes in the game, Leonardo Poz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Timoteo Evis having to interfere. Gaspar Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonardo Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marlin FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leones FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Leones FC.
