In the 5thth minute of the game Miguel Merentiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonardo Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Giraldo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Sabin came free, but Mateo Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Mundo came free, but Mateo Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Merentiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aureliano Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in KaoS Futbol Club's zone, Gaspar Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Giraldo came out of the goal and Gaspar Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KaoS Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. 48 minutes into the game, Jaime Mundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mateo Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Bastiaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Cayo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. Lisandro Bastiaro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Edgardo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mateo Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Merentiel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliano Obeko. That made the score 2-1 in the 79 minute of play. Aureliano Obeko made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lisandro Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Miguel Merentiel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko. Aureliano Obeko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Poz. 91 minutes into the game, Jaime Mundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mateo Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Poz in the 95th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Mateo Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of KaoS Futbol Club booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leones FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while KaoS Futbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
