The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Bernaldo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Eriberto Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milton Giménez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Transito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Alvarez got free with Iker Transito in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cachiyuyo EAS's Iker Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Seguinus in the 19th minute of play. Iker Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Milton Giménez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cachiyuyo EAS's Iker Transito. Iker Transito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvano Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Varela took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Transito. Iker Transito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s Ladislao Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Transito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Milton Giménez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Transito. That made the score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milton Giménez was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Anaya having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Eriberto Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Milton Giménez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Transito was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Iker Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Milton Giménez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teo Rolado came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cachiyuyo EAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Rolado couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Benzema in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Transito saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Karim Benzema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Transito came out of the goal and Karim Benzema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
