A collision led to ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emilio Cresconio hit a great ball. Constantino Bemabe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ubaldo Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Bemabe in the 26th minute of the match. Hermengildo Dalmai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Naelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Silvano Baleren could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Ubaldo Frisco however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Lamberto in the 47th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Baleren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hermengildo Dalmai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Angel Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alijilán returns's protests and gave Angel Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Angel Leguizamón. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Dalmai couldn't finish the play. Carolo Berbiz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Ubaldo Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Baleren in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Constantino Bemabe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Frisco. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Bemabe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Eleuterio Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Constantino Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alijilán returns from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
