The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Potrerillo Azuleño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Teodoro Guerau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Gonza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Potrerillo Azuleño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Potrerillo Azuleño got a freekick which was hit by Hector Tonete. After recieving a nice pass, Utopía Muerta FC's Teodoro Guerau tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lázaro Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Ruberto in the 16th minute of play. If Agustín Ruberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Guillelmus in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Aurelio Chico got a free kick in the 28th minute. Patricio Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Patricio Bortzaioriz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillo Azuleño's protests and gave Patricio Bortzaioriz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Patricio Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Gaufred's late challenge caught a Utopía Muerta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Gaufred helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Potrerillo Azuleño got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gaufred. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Agustín Ruberto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Potrerillo Azuleño's Lázaro Gonza. Lázaro Gonza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Guillelmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Gonza having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Etxahun in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Maties prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lázaro Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Edgard Emeterio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Elias Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Utopía Muerta FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cayetano Tiniebra hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Salvador Guillelmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Potrerillo Azuleño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Teodoro Guerau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Gonza skillfully saved the ball. Lázaro Gonza made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Agustín Ruberto sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lázaro Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Potrerillo Azuleño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. The Potrerillo Azuleño fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Utopía Muerta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
