After a defensive mix-up in Isótopos V.M.'s zone, Gaspar Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Anaya came out of the goal and Gaspar Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jaime Mundo hit a great ball. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Sabin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Anaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isótopos V.M.'s Raul Montrell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dante Mannie in the 87 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Cayo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Isótopos V.M. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Raul Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Isótopos V.M. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Montrell couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Isótopos V.M.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
