Camilo Freixa was a little too slow when Marcinho de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Marcinho de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcinho de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When Mario Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Fernandino couldn't finish the play. The Tabajara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Moreira should have stopped the shot. After 44 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. In the 46th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doriva Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tabajara FC's Doriva Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 93rd minute of play. Serginho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Tabajara FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
