But to his dismay, Viggo Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 30th match minute, Redbull Sala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Ålberg to maneuver through the defense. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Redbull Sala's Viggo Göransson. But to his dismay, Viggo Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Viggo Göransson took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sakis Karvouniaris. Sakis Karvouniaris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Leonardo Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakis Karvouniaris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Sakis Karvouniaris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viggo Göransson went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Redbull Sala were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Kristiansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viggo Göransson. Leonardo Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Karvouniaris having to interfere. Viggo Göransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sakis Karvouniaris made a huge save. After 69 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Kristiansson. Viggo Göransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Sakis Karvouniaris made a huge save. Redbull Sala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evert Sundström in the 75th minute. Redbull Sala's Evert Sundström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sakis Karvouniaris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lakis Kassimatis made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valerios Brizolakis immediately put the ball in play. Karl-Erik Unesson charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Erik Unesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Karl-Erik Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Stelios Egomitis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Börje Eskilsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 84th minute, Redbull Sala's Viggo Göransson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. In the 88th minute, Leonardo Kristiansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenios Ioannidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Redbull Sala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
