Sakis Karvouniaris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulf Öfverman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Sakis Karvouniaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 13th minute of play. Sakis Karvouniaris made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ulf Öfverman sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Glyka Nera FC defense, Bengt-Rune Strömbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris. The Glyka Nera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakis Karvouniaris should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris. Glyka Nera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Öfverman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Ulf Öfverman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sakis Karvouniaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Öfverman in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Karvouniaris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Glyka Nera FC defense, Ulf Öfverman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris. The Glyka Nera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakis Karvouniaris should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Stelios Egomitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ulf Öfverman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Brothers of Mercy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Öfverman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Käcker in the 39th minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Ulf Öfverman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brothers of Mercy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Öfverman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Sakis Karvouniaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris. Sakis Karvouniaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glyka Nera FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Bengt-Rune Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 61st minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Ulf Öfverman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. In the 69th minute Ulf Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Karvouniaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sakis Karvouniaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glyka Nera FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Brothers of Mercy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
