The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Larry Estoyanoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real de Carmelo 2021 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fernando Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxi Araujo in the 12th minute. Duarte Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxi Araujo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Costa in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Estoyanoff. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxi Araujo in the 38th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Fontes was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Maxi Araujo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maxi Araujo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 43 played minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Gabiña. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When Serafín García fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's protests and gave Serafín García a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafín García. After having played for 48 minutes, Maxi Araujo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxi Araujo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Maxi Araujo made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ defense, Larry Estoyanoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Fontes. The Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Fontes should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Flavinho Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastián Sosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a little luck, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Flavinho Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dacio Carcamo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacio Carcamo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dacio Carcamo hit a great ball. Sebastián Sosa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Danilo Varela. When Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Maxi Araujo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Dacio Carcamo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes, Flavinho Queiroz made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Sebastián Sosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastián Sosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 79th minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Urtun Poblaciones replaced Xavier Gabiña. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Teodosio Baul was substituted for Maxi Araujo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Costa in the 90th minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Fontes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Danel Belluga. But to his dismay, Danel Belluga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ for a fine match.
