The referee ignored Atletico de Madrid's protests and gave Dimosthenis Stamatopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Dimosthenis Stamatopoulos hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Nikolas Karkamanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zikri Eygül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes in the game Ilias Koulopodis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iakovos Papafotopoulos. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Madrid's Dimosthenis Stamatopoulos got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Zikri Eygül made a precise shot to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis. Atletico de Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, MZetowe Mastodonty's Roch Haszczak made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolas Karkamanis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Zikri Eygül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, MZetowe Mastodonty's Zikri Eygül nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolas Karkamanis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Roch Haszczak came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the MZetowe Mastodonty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Haszczak couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Atletico de Madrid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MZetowe Mastodonty:s goal. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for MZetowe Mastodonty. Roch Haszczak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nikolas Karkamanis. 0-5. Nikolas Karkamanis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Haszczak went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Ilias Koulopodis made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dimosthenis Stamatopoulos immediately put the ball in play. Feng Ling Di took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolas Karkamanis. Nikolas Karkamanis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. If Zikri Eygül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iakovos Papafotopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Roch Haszczak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikolas Karkamanis, 0-8. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Madrid's zone, Zikri Eygül stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Karkamanis came out of the goal and Zikri Eygül tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savas Stavridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Feng Ling Di came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the MZetowe Mastodonty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feng Ling Di couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Zikri Eygül rounded Atletico de Madrid's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. In the 75th minute, Zikri Eygül reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikolas Karkamanis. The goal made the score 0-11. Atletico de Madrid's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zikri Eygül 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. MZetowe Mastodonty made a substitution. Khamzat Chimaev replaced Zikri Eygül. In the 85th minute, MZetowe Mastodonty's Roch Haszczak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikolas Karkamanis. Nikolas Karkamanis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Nikolas Karkamanis was a little too slow when Roch Haszczak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-14. In the 92nd minute, Khamzat Chimaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolas Karkamanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. Nikolas Karkamanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Haszczak in the 96th minute of the match.
