Lennart Åman was slow to take the kick. During this time IKS Norrköping's players had a chance to rest. The corner led IKS Norrköping's Lennart Åman to fire away a dangerous shot which Conrado Liberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Conrado Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Askberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Fumasche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IKS Norrköping had played much better football throughout.
