Viggo Göransson took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Liberto. Conrado Liberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Riquelme in the 10th minute of play. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romain Riquelme in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Redbull Sala's Inge Mager got a free kick in the 21st minute. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Romelio in the 31st minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Romelio in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Quinito in the 36th minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Quinito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Quinito in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sundström. In the 41st minute Benedicto Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Odeen during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Odeen. 46 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goalkeeper Conrado Liberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viggo Göransson. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell-Arne Odeen to make the kick off. Max Jakobsson's late challenge caught a Fumasche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Redbull Sala getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Max Jakobsson hit a great ball. David Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Quinito in the 80th minute of play. Conrado Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Kaj Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Redbull Sala's Thomas Brolin got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Redbull Sala players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
