After some careless play in the Atletico de Madrid defense, Patrick Cerezo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis. The Atletico de Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikolas Karkamanis should have stopped the shot. Atletico de Madrid's Nikolas Karkamanis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico de Madrid from getting a goal against them. Patrick Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nikolas Karkamanis made a huge save. Nikolas Karkamanis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hílton Tande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 38 minute of play. Nikolas Karkamanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

FPRMZ booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Vamvoukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
