The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Modestio Jina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Modestio Jina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reces Bacheler in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Reces Bacheler put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Lundgren. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s César Bertrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Göransson in the 10th minute of play. Duardo Pruniel took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Lundgren. David Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Reces Bacheler notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Redbull Sala's David Lundgren. David Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Duardo Pruniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Brolin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Brolin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Brolin. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Reces Bacheler sped through Redbull Sala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Lundgren. A collision led to Redbull Sala getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Thomas Brolin hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Duardo Pruniel made a precise shot to the right of David Lundgren. Redbull Sala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Duardo Pruniel in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbull Sala's goalie prevented a goal. If Viggo Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viggo Göransson got free with César Bertrand in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duardo Pruniel was the one to do the kick off. Einar Berggren charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Einar Berggren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Einar Berggren. In the 53rd minute, Duardo Pruniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Einar Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duardo Pruniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Redbull Sala's Max Jakobsson got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Modestio Jina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reces Bacheler in the 66th minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Sundström charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Sundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sundström. Duardo Pruniel in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Lundgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Paut in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Paut got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Lundgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Redbull Sala's attentive Thomas Brandin managed to snatch the ball when Domingo Vivero made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Duardo Pruniel succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. David Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Reces Bacheler sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modestio Jina. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redbull Sala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Paut was slow to take the kick. During this time Ornitorrincos F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Duardo Pruniels short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got David Lundgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duardo Pruniel in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duardo Pruniel. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
