With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miren Panussi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Elduayen saved Real de Carmelo 2021 FC from getting behind. In the 10th minute of the match Ornitorrincos F.C. got a corner. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miren Panussi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ornitorrincos F.C.'s corner Miren Panussi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Elduayen quite easily take care of the ball. César Bertrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Larry Estoyanoff in the 12th minute. Federico Elduayen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Bello in the 17th minute of play. When Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Federico Elduayen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duardo Pruniel in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Larry Estoyanoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Bertrand. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Larry Estoyanoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Duardo Pruniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Federico Elduayen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Federico Elduayen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duardo Pruniel's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Maxi Araujo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. César Bertrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miren Panussi in the 40th minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Federico Elduayen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabián Canobbio took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Bertrand. César Bertrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duardo Pruniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Frederick Navarro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Zumar Gerica replaced Maxi Araujo. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC! When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Miren Panussi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Federico Elduayen. Marcos Paut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Federico Elduayen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Federico Elduayen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duardo Pruniel in the 62nd minute of play. César Bertrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabián Canobbio in the 65th minute of the match. César Bertrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabián Canobbio's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ferrando Ledea. In the 72nd minute, Benth Vedelsgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentín Bello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Elduayen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Marcelo Tejera was substituted for Fabián Canobbio. Federico Elduayen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duardo Pruniel in the 88th minute of the match. Marcelo Tejera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Bertrand having to interfere.
