The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Rolf Nyman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Costin Ignătoiu, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Isac Frunză's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Tingberg was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Rolf Nyman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Österlund got free with Costin Ignătoiu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Hrandabur's late challenge caught a IKS Norrköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florin Hrandabur helped the player get up and apologised. Florin Hrandabur hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Costin Ignătoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Vallin in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Nyman in the 21st minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Costin Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Sefastsson made a kick off. Florin Hrandabur kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Costin Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Sefastsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihnea Costea hit a great ball. Claes Österlund struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Costin Ignătoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IKS Norrköping. After some careless play in the AFC PunisherS™ defense, Rolf Nyman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Ignătoiu. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Ignătoiu should have stopped the shot. Gavril Chibulcutean kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. IKS Norrköping walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
