With a little luck, IKS Norrköping's Henrik Tingberg got control of the ball when Alekos Kassanos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Miltos Chatzidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrik Tingberg, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Miltos Chatzidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some careless play in the Amfithea Hotspur defense, Hampus Vallin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Babbis Theocharis. The Amfithea Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babbis Theocharis should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alekos Kassanos got free with Henrik Tingberg in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IKS Norrköping's Henrik Tingberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Kostopoulos in the 39th minute of play. Babbis Theocharis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes of play, IKS Norrköping's Rolf Nyman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Babbis Theocharis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Hampus Vallin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Babbis Theocharis came out and tried to block the shot, but Hampus Vallin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 51st minute. Babbis Theocharis was a little too slow when Lucas Sefastsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 3-4. Babbis Theocharis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hampus Vallin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 71 minute of play. Babbis Theocharis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Vallin in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Torsten Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Nyman in the 79th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Babbis Theocharis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Ek hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to IKS Norrköping getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hampus Vallin hit a great ball. Henrik Tingberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Kostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. IKS Norrköping's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
