The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in ASC South United's zone, Gaskon Mayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Holst came out of the goal and Gaskon Mayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Holst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idacio Helguera's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Kristian Holst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Helguera in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Mirko Stuijvenberg got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Holst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 minutes, Idacio Helguera made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ASC South United's Kristian Holst tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristian Holst didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taco Scholte during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute of the match Kaiet Carballeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Holst skillfully saved the ball. Taco Scholte kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Los romperredes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Sampil. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Bender to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Idacio Helguera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristian Holst. The goal made the score 0-5. Los romperredes F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Idacio Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taco Scholte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaskon Mayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goalkeeper Kristian Holst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaskon Mayor. In the 78th minute Gaskon Mayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Holst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, one of Los romperredes F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kristian Holst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaskon Mayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Holst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Helguera came free, but Kristian Holst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Holst came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera. But to his dismay, Idacio Helguera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 98 minutes into the game, ASC South United's Taco Scholte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Landa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los romperredes F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
