The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Babbis Kafkaletos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Renatinho Freitas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Babbis Kafkaletos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Renatinho Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Kafkaletos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Hamílton Cardozo replaced Gilvan Silva. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saadi Saabøll was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Diamante Negro DK - VV defense, Veniamin Velidakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Prestes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saadi Saabøll in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Prestes saved Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting behind. Tomé Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savas Vallas in the 83rd minute of play. Hamílton Cardozo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Babbis Kafkaletos. Babbis Kafkaletos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton Cardozo got free with Babbis Kafkaletos in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Diamante Negro DK - VV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
