Sérgio Passos was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Gaskon Mayor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaskon Mayor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Casildo Galdamez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Sérgio Passos made a huge save. Gentil Quaresma's late challenge caught a Los romperredes F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gentil Quaresma helped the player get up and apologised. Gentil Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Los romperredes F.C's Casildo Galdamez in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD JULIO DINIS's goalie prevented a goal. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Helguera in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zeferino Castilho hit a great ball. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save GD JULIO DINIS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagondo Sampil in the 31st minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save GD JULIO DINIS from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaskon Mayor. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jacob Valines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los romperredes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Valines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Mayor in the 43rd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Passos was a little too slow when Casildo Galdamez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Idacio Helguera was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Norberto Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Los romperredes F.C's Fagondo Sampil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Passos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los romperredes F.C reached it. In the 55th match minute, Los romperredes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Valdés to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idacio Helguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Valines, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Mayor in the 62nd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the GD JULIO DINIS defense, Idacio Helguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Passos. The GD JULIO DINIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Passos should have stopped the shot. Sérgio Passos came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Los romperredes F.C's Gaskon Mayor. But to his dismay, Gaskon Mayor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Idacio Helguera notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos. Sérgio Passos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sérgio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Mayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Kaiet Carballeira got a free kick in the 78th minute. Idacio Helguera scored 7-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Passos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casildo Galdamez in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Idacio Helguera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Passos. GD JULIO DINIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Idacio Helguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 95th minute Casildo Galdamez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Los romperredes F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
