A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pascoal Braga hit a great ball. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Chatzidis in the 20th minute of play. Zeferino Castilho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 23rd playminute. 33 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Santana came free, but Babbis Theocharis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Gentil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Babbis Theocharis made a huge save. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Charoulis in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Babbis Theocharis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeferino Castilho. Zeferino Castilho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeferino Castilho got free with Babbis Theocharis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes GD JULIO DINIS got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Casado. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kostas Kostopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos got control of the ball when Kostas Kostopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Amfithea Hotspur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Androulakis to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's Norberto Santana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Babbis Theocharis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gentil, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gustavo Gentil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Theocharis having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Amfithea Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Roussos. A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Afonso Eanes hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Charoulis came free, but Sérgio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Charoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Higino Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. A hard shot by Marinos Roussos from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Sérgio Passos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Amfithea Hotspur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GD JULIO DINIS.
