Arkadiusz Filanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Aukes in the 4th minute of play. Pieter den Hartog kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Szymon Latocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivier Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Bartochowski in the 13th minute. Olivier Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Rekawiczka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Tobiasz Fafinski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olivier Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adam Wawro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olivier Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Tyszka in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olivier Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Serge de Boer got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olivier Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Bartochowski in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, MZetowe Mastodonty's Zbyszko Bartochowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Zbyszko Bartochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Kahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Serge de Boer got a free kick in the 40th minute. Olivier Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antoni Rekawiczka. Edwin Aukes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge de Boer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when MZetowe Mastodonty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Dulka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Edwin Aukes made the kick off in the second half. If Szymon Latocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes of play, MZetowe Mastodonty's Zbyszko Bartochowski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivier Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zbyszko Bartochowski scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olivier Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serge de Boer's late challenge caught a MZetowe Mastodonty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serge de Boer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge de Boer to maneuver through the defense.
