After a rather tough play, Asdfgh's Eddie Stenman got a free kick in the 10th minute. ASC South United's Stijn Otten got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stijn Otten to maneuver through the defense. Henry Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Holst having to interfere. After some careless play in the ASC South United defense, Evert Helberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Holst. The ASC South United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Holst should have stopped the shot. Evert Helberg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Kristian Holst would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Hugo Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hugo Bender came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the ASC South United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Bender couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Asdfgh got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Svanberg. In the 37th minute Cees Hermensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cees Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Bengtsson having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Stijn Otten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Stijn Otten managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASC South United's supporters rose to their feet, but Stijn Otten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ASC South United fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when ASC South United's Hugo Bender looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
